Pakistan: At the same time that United States has revealed that they are about to ramp-up military operations in Pakistan, BBC is reporting that “thousands of Pakistanis have fled into Afghanistan” due to the security situation deteriorating in Pakistan. This revelation is frightening on multiple levels: It proves that the NATO occupation of Afghanistan is a complete disaster and that the chaos it has created is spreading; it shows us how desperate the situation is in Pakistan if people are willing to escape into what is considered to be hell on earth; and it indicates that Pakistan is about to become another major war zone the likes of which has not even been seen in Afghanistan.
